Infertility In Men

Infertility is the failure of a couple to become pregnant after one year of regular, unprotected intercourse (Or) sometimes unhealthy pregnancy leading to miscarriage is also known as infertility.

INFERTILITY IN MEN as per the ancient siddha science :

In Siddha Medicine, Impotence or Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is called as வீரியமந்தநிலை, ஆண் குறி விறைப்பின்மை[Aankuri viraippu inmai], ஆண் உறுப்பு எழுச்சியின்மை, பாலுறவு பலவீனம். In Tamil colloquially called as நரம்பு தளர்ச்சி [Narambu Thalarchi], ஆண்மை குறைபாடு etc.

INFERTILITY AND IMPOTENCE IN MEN:

Infertility in Men might be due to:

Low sperm count ( Oligospermia ).

Low sperm motility (Asthenospermia).

Low sperm morphology in men ( Teratospermia ).

No sperm count ( Azoospermia ).

Dead sperms / totally immobile ( Necrospermia).

Erectile dysfunction ,pre- mature ejaculation, Diabetic neuropathy, Alcohol / smoking habits, Masterbation etc.,

Low sperm count and nerve weakness due to diabetes.

Which means diabetic patients have weak naadis ( weak nerves on pulse diagnosis) due to deterioration of udal thaathus, nerves will be damaged like the worm wriggling in the fire and the patient will develop many diseases.

MEN’S HEALTH - ED - ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION.

Even though there are treatment for 4448 diseases in siddha, Erectile Dysfunction(ED) or male impotency and sexual dysfunction or female impotency tops the chart !! Many believe that being impotent means they are infertile.

Erectile dysfunction in men refers to the persistent inability to achieve and maintain an erection adequate for satisfactory sexual activity.

Causes of Erectile dysfunction:

Improper functioning of brain, nerves, hormones,blood. Low levels of testosterone ,Diabetes , High blood pressure, thyroid problem , depression, nervous system disorders (such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson’s disease), blood pressure medications (especially beta-blockers), heart medications (such as digoxin), some peptic ulcer medications, sleeping pills, antidepressants, Nerve damage from prostate surgery, Nicotine, alcohol, or cocaine use, Poor communication with your partner, Repeated feelings of doubt and failure, Spinal cord injury, Stress, fear, anxiety, or anger, Unrealistic sexual expectations, which make sex a task instead of a pleasure.

Siddha Treatment for Erectile dysfunction:

In case of any vascular diseases, the medicines that reduce fat and increases blood flow are prescribed which not only cures erectile dysfunction but also the vascular diseases.
